Convenient spot to launch if for fishing and birding Tres Palacios, Turtle Bay or Oyster Lake. Shrimp boats unload right here. Bait and table shrimp. I might suggest calling ahead for fresh-fresh.

Great bait camp that sends out its own shrimp boat each week. You can buy fresh shrimp for table or live bait and cut bait already packaged to go. This establishment has been run by the family for 40+years. Free boat launch and fishing pier but you may have the resident duck family begging for any sandwich scraps on hand. Kayak rentals available as well.

Very nice staff! I wanted to see if they had mullet but they do not, they have bags of bait fish that are dead though and those sure did the trick! I will definitely come back
