Called ahead to purchase a $500 item, to which I was told on the phone was $520 taxes in... I asked if item was new in box, and the "manager" said that it was on display but brand new still. To me this means the box is on display... This product is an open box. When I arrived at the store I was fine with purchasing the open box unit, but then the "manager" told me the price was $520, then scanned it and told me $529. I said she should keep the $520 all in cost as she told me this on the phone and seconds ago. Then she denied it. This pisses me right off and I ask to speak to the manager... To my surprise it's her... I ask for the owner info, of course she doesn't "have it". Kept it civil but I will chase down the owner... I've spent easily 2k at this shop since I moved here. This is TERRIBLE customer service and I will NEVER SHOP here again. I realize this is 10 bucks but denying what I'm saying? Maybe you shouldn't be stoned at work. Update:five hundred and twenty is very different than five hundred and twenty nine. I ended up buying it from your competitor for 500 flat. So I saved $30 from your price, by going down the street to a store which treats their customers with respect... I already mentioned taxes in... She didn't offer ANYTHING. If you read my above post, you'll see I already mention taxes. As a business owner, perhaps you should train your employees to learn more about their products and pricing, especially before you promote them to be a manager.

I bought a wooden smoking product last night, used it one time (literally) and the brass threaded part fell out rendering it useless. I went back in the next day. The girl was just leaving when I arrived so I was greated by a “back in 5 minutes” sign, and I waited patiently for her to come back. I showed her the item, and ahe noticed a small crack in the wood. She said “wood items aren’t really very durable.” One time use?? I have not droped or over tightend any part of (it wasn’t necessary to do that when I used it). I Just wanted to exchange it for something that did not have such an inherent weakness, and would happily pay the difference. I was told that there is no replacement or refund on any smoking products. She offered to sell me something else for 15% off. Most retail margins are at least 50% or more, (I used to manage stores for over 12 years) so buying anything else would still be profitable for them, and a straight out loss for me. No offer the send it back to distributor or anything. I said “unfortunately I can’t support a business that doesn’t stand behind their products” and left. It’s unfortunate because, I had received very friendly service otherwise, but that is pretty inexcusable. Most businesses do not operate this way.

Typical pop culture multi-genre and MJ paraphaneilia store. Been in a few times to pick up quick gifts. Staff seem cool and helpful. Not very many stores like it around as compared to Queen street W or in other cities. Not bad.
