I am a child of the 1960s and love Tie-Dye. But NOT the standard swirl color pattern that is oh so common. Island Dyes has a huge selection of unique Tie-Dye T-shirts and other clothes, many unique curios and crafts, and a bewilderingly large collect of SYN glassware - both artistic and utilitarian. The staff is quite on the young side -- at least to those in their 70s -- but are extremely nice and helpful. The shop is definitely worth a look. AND -- about 3 miles from the main shop is the smaller Island Dyes workshop where customers can take a class to create their own Tie-Dye shirt. Would have been fun, but didn't have time. Next trip for sure.
