Sotheby's Wine on 1334 York Ave

An amazing building with so much to do on 5+ floors. Rotating exhibitions. Highly recommend you visiting. Everyone was kind, helpful and the coat check is free. I came for a Rimowa event but definitely would love to come back and explore the rest of the building!

Sotheby's Wine on 1334 York Ave

A wine shop with access to an incredible selection of old world wines. Sotheby's Wine is one of the best kept secrets on the upper east side. This store has rare collectable vintages as well as an accessable collection of Bordeaux wines under $30 for new comers to the world of luxury. They offer weekly delivery on Manhattan.

Sotheby's Wine on 1334 York Ave

Very high end wines with an extremely knowledgeable staff. They know the product well. They focus mostly on higher end bottles, but there is a section for bottles of Bordeaux under $25. There are a fair number of unusual hard to find wines. The vintage wine isn't always as expensive as you would expect. I highly recommend.

Very disappointing experience. I was planning on going there for a while and on a day that I came they were doing their all day inventory on Tuesday?!! Without announcing it anywhere! And the guy at the entrance was just smiling and giggling and not really offering any options like going through the catalogue or delivery or anything. I was not expecting it from Sotheby’s!! Poor service. Not professional people on the doors.
