So we went to Ziggy's, which is located at the Lamplighter. Let me be the first to say, the food is unreal. Best chicken tenders I have ever had (don't tell my wife!)! And there is something up with the cod... It was unnaturally good. I mean it was so good that it didn't make sense. The employees there were absolutely wonderful. Overall, a fantastic experience. I will be going back!

Dirty!!! The 1st room we got had vomit in it. The night clerk was very apologetic & got us a new room. That room needed a deep clean! There was a dirty wash cloth under the sink & something on the toilet. When we checked out in the morning the day clerk asked how everything was. I told her they need to clean the rooms better. She acted like I was just making things up, I told her to just head on up to room 224 & look at the floor between the bed & wall then. Stay somewhere else, this is not a place for families!

Most of the time Ziggies restaurant is great. Last time we were there the service was terrible, the waitress kept saying "I have a large group in the back". Well I can be understanding and sympathetic to a point but I'm a paying customer as well so if it takes a little longer I understand but don't let us sit and wait for a table then let it take 7 or 8 minutes before anyone decides to ask us about drinks. I like this place so I'll get over it but last time was not a good experience. Oh the food was still good, no worries there.

Check in staff was very polite ... room was a disappointment. Very old & not well maintained decor. Mold & grime along baseboards that explained the faint musty odor in the room. The air conditioner did work ... but was quite noisy. There must be no insulation in the walls because you could hear all the movement in the hallway as well as all the traffic outside the grimy window. Not condusive to a good nights sleep but it really didn't matter because the bed was the worst part so no one was going to sleep anyway! I tried several times to find a place on the bed to lay down ... but I never found a place where I wasn't being poked by a spring or something. It was just plain bad all around. There are several other choices right close by ... I'd say give this place a miss & try one of the others.

The exterior and lobby of the hotel look really nice. I am in a wheelchair and had a hard time navigating the halls and opening doors. Once you get to the hallway to the room the place looks really old and outdated. The beds are comfortable. Overall I had a good experience. Would just be better if it was a bit more handicap friendly.
