Orange, headshop: While traveling I like to check out headshops/smoke shops to see what areas have to offer. First things first, it was easy yo find, they had a clean parking lot with plenty of space. There was a trash can outside one of the other businesses (important because I always need a place to toss my service dogs mess). I found Orange over Google. Some things that I saw in the reviews were correct, the owner has an attitude problem and definitely makes you feel unwelcome. Like I said, I have a service dog (by law, no one can deny him access because that would be like denying access to my wheelchair.) and there was a hand written sign on the door that said "no pets." if you didn't already know, where pets are denied, service dogs can go. I'm not required to have him in any gear or identifying garb, but I do work him in a vest that makes it very obvious he's a working dog. The owner walked past me saying "we don't really allow dogs in here." I gently said "he's a service dog, which means he lawfully goes where I do." and I immediately felt rushed and like he didn't want me there simply because I was with my medical device that happens to be a canine. There was an employee who was great though. (tall, bald, white guy with a friendly smile). Didn't catch any names but he was very polite and offered to help me, unlike the owner. The employee gets 5/5 stars for me, the owner gets 2/5. Once he saw I was gonna spend money he was the tiniest bit nicer. I shouldn't have to spend $105 in your store for you to be friendly, welcoming or be offered even decent customer service from the owner. I feel like their prices could be a litttttle more budget friendly, but they're not so bad that I went elsewhere (which I will totally do if some place has bad prices or doesn't deserve my business.) some things price wise made sense, some didn't. I purchased two thermal bangers, each 36$. I also purchased a hat and 1 preroll cone. Normally I'd pay 25-30$ for a banger. If they're 30$ each and I buy two, most headshops would give you a discount. The shops by me would do two thermal bangers for 45$, giving me a discount on one of them. I think some smoke shop owners forget that they could be considered part of the Healthcare field. Michigan is a medical marijuana state, people purchase supplies so they can take the medicine that is saving or changing their lives. GOOD shops treat their customers like patients, not criminals, even if the individual doesn't outright tell you they're in the medical program. Long story short, would I return? No, if I was back in the area, I'd check out a different shop instead. Would I recommend this shop? If you're really in need and you don't care so much about how you're treated, sure. Check them out. If you expect 1. great customer service 2. Very competitive prices and 3. An outstanding selection, go elsewhere.

They have good variety papers bowls and other paraphernalia only reason to stars is because sometimes it takes forever to cash out the last time I was there I was waiting 15 minutes and they couldn't even ring me up so I left went elsewhere but other than that pretty good place
