I had a very bad experience shopping at this store, they need NEW management..the store manager Shonda is very rude and not welcoming..she also treat you like you are going to steal out of the store.. I will no longer shop at that paticular Family Dollar store in Pahokee!!

Tried to buy Mango Pepsi yesterday since Pepsi Products were on sale for 3 12 packs for $11. Apparently, since Mango Pepsi is a new product, it doesn't qualify as a Pepsi Product, and I was being charged full price. So, because someone forgot to correctly add this product to the computer that handles the prices, I couldn't get the product that I wanted. The proper thing to do would have been to make a price adjustment, but that did not happen.

Notice: When this store gets a negative review it is followed up by someone giving it a five star review with no real explanation as to why in order to offset your negative rating. With that said. I Simply ran in the store for a quick item after stopping at Redbox. This is the most horrible store in the city of Pahokee, and surrounding cities. It is dirty, filthy and nasty. The floors look as though they haven't been mopped in years. Items are all in disarray, even on the floor. It makes absolutely no sense for a store to be this wrecked. With visitors and campers visiting the lake, you would think the manager of this store would attempt to have it looking halfway decent. I would not recommend anyone shopping here, boxes are everywhere, carts of merchandise are all over the place. It looks as though dogs and cats have been allowed to run amok through the store. It's a complete disaster. Take a few extra steps and travel next door to Dollar General where the service is excellent, the floors are mopped and the merchandise is tidy. It's a thousand times cleaner than its competition; or travel 20 minutes to the next city. This store is ridiculous.

Go down the street to their competitor Dollar General because there is a bona fide witch working at Family Dollar. Wish I had gotten her name but she virtually snarled at me when I asked for help finding light bulbs. I told her to "cheer up" and she cursed me!!! I informed the mgr but he seemed to care less. Anyway Dollar General is cheaper on most stuff!

Family Dollar in Frostproof is very clean and organized. The merchandise is always well displayed and the shelves are always neat. The manager, Marco, is always friendly and willing to help customers find what they need. He is always making sure the new merchandise is put up in a timely manner. Many people say how much cleaner Family Dollar is than Dollar General.

This Family Dollar is better, more organized and definitely cleaner than most of the stores I have shopped in. I think they are shorthanded because it takes a long time to get the shelves stocked. The employees always greet me when I walk in the door and if I can't find something they look until they find it, or until they find out that they don't have it. They make sure it gets ordered and let me know when I can come in to pick it up. Great customer service!

8/11/20 Most recent trip. Had an unpleasant experience with a Male employee being way too close. Employee made me super uncomfortable by hanging out literally right behind me or beside me while I was shopping. He got a little too close to my toddler until he saw me and booked it back the opposite direction. He definitely failed to social distance, and was a little creepy.

Everything else equal, I will no longer shop at any business that requires I wear a protective mask especially when the surrounding counties and cities do not require it. This pertains to the Havana, FL store. I urge you to contact the Gadsden County Commissioners and demand they retract their draconian rules mandating wearing mask at all times in public. In the interim, my wife and I will do our shopping in Tallahassee, FL or Bainbridge Georgia. Gadsden County 113 COVID 19 cases and 0 deaths. Dear Dr. V. I am beyond upset with the Gadsden County Commission taking action to stymie my freedom and those who live or pass through Gadsden County. Please explain to me who provided expert opinion that invoking a Curfew would reduce COVID19 deaths and if so, how many lives is it expected to save in Gadsden County? Please explain to me why with the State of Florida already invoking orders to treat the COVID19 spread, the Gadsden County Commission felt any need to act? Please explain to me who will prosecute any violation? Today I spoke with the State Attorney office in Quincy and they are not prosecuting any violations that are not allege violations of State Law. How long do you intend to force your will on us and what accomplishments or metrics are you using to dictate the duration of these draconian measures? Another issue I do not understand, if the County Commissioners are concern with saving lives, why not act on the 660,000 babies that died during abortion last year or maybe do something about the 400,000 people that will die this year from tobacco related deaths or maybe do something about finding a cure for AIDS. The point I am making is you have overstepped your authority and somehow believe the tax payers and voters in our area wanted you do act on this in the first place.

Cashier's are always friendly and considerate. I left my deodorant in a bag on the counter after purchasing it a couple years ago and the manager allowed me to get another when I returned. Superior customer service, honestly the best! I try to avoid Williston for the most part, but Family Dollar is one of the few shops that don't treat me like I'm less than them. Greatly appreciate my local Family Dollar. Definitely recommended, always great deals and clean aisles! Easy to access parking and helpful staff.
