Went in to make a purchase, "greeted" by Reid. He was not friendly or welcoming at all. My husband is AD and have always received a Military discount, he refused. Sold me a product with no seal and half full. He cared less. I called another location and spoke with a very helpful associate. He told me to ask Reid for a complaint form, of which he refused. Then Reid started indicating that the guy I was talking to on the phone at their sister location didn't know anything. Will never shop here again.

I have been patronizing the particular place for about a year now. Although their prices for Kratom are about 25% higher than anywhere else, I continued buying it there because the quality was good. This last purchase I made was not the case however. I bought a large amount of Kratom and when I got home, the quality was not what I expected. The Kratom was dark brown, maybe due to moisture, gritty, and tasted much different. Aside from that, there were no therapeutic effects one would normally get from Kratom. I brought my purchase back to the store and informed them that their product was bad. Even after looking at the product they refused to admit that it was bad. The manager did not offer me a refund and said she would talk to corporate to see what she would do. Well, she has yet to call me, even out of courtesy to let me know there was nothing she could do, or offer to give me a better deal on some product that was not complete garbage. Needless to say, I took my business elsewhere and saved 25% on all future purchases of higher quality products. Don't waste your money here.

I stopped in here for the first time today and I can honestly say that I don't understand all the negative reviews. The staff were great, they knew exactly what I was looking for (red vein bali kratom) and told me about all the different varieties they carry. I didn't really look around a whole lot but I felt that their pricing was fair. And as far as the review that referred to smokers bay, I have been there and the young lady working at the time seemed like she didn't have time to deal with customers or like I had interrupted her when I asked about their kratom selection. When it comes down to it, I have no problems paying a tiny bit more for good customer service. This place has got excellent customer service. So I would rather spend a little bit more and feel like a welcome customer than pay cheap prices for lower quality items than be put off by a seemingly annoyed employee. I will absolutely shop here again.

Good selection if you’ve got a full wallet. This place is highway robbery when it comes to pricing. Way to overpriced for quality of pieces. Want an example of how overpriced they are? Go to Smokers Bay on s. Third st and check out the g-pen vaporizer with the quartz coil... selling for $22.99...SMOKE CITY is getting $35.99 for the same exact g-pen!!!! This place is a huge rip off! Take your business elsewhere if you want to save 25-50%!!!!

Overpriced is one thing, but overpriced and cheap nets you barely two stars. The only redeeming quality is your helpful and funny staff, but unfortunately that's not enough to stop me from going elsewhere. When I spend $10 on something that shouldn't cost so much and it 1) doesn't work and 2) breaks apart after five minutes, I'm not going to be in any rush whatsoever to come back to your store again.

Very very high prices.... Literally twice the price of cloud 9 just 3 miles further south on san jose blvd. For a great deal and better selection go to cloud 9 and hopefully smoke city will start lowering prices to keep up.

They were getting better in their vape juice selection.. then went down hill. Owner does not have any idea how to manage inventory between stores.. disappointing. Go to Axis Vapor on old st Augustine or westside blanding instead.

Smoke city is by far the greatest & my favorite smoke shop in Jacksonville!! All the employees are VERY friendly,, helpful & knowledgeable on all of the inventory!! I consider Smoke City the "Costco" of all smoke shops & their prices are very competitive too!!! And don't forget to get your VIP punch card punched at the end of every visit and once you fill up your punch card with 10 punches then you get 20% off your next purchase so you can't go wrong with Smoke City,, they are the best!!!

Bought a juul starter kit from them for $64. When I got home I checked the price and found out that as a new customer on the Juul website I can get it for half as much as smoke city. I tried to return to the juul, or at the very least get reimbursed for the massive price difference. They were adamant about their no return policy and basically ripped me off. Safe to say never giving them money again.

Bought something from them as a gift for a friend and left the store. I was gone no longer than 10 mins and realized I grabbed the wrong one. Came back and they would not exchange or refund. Guy told me he would get in trouble if he did which I understand he is just doing his job. So I’m out of $25 because they have a nasty owner and I can assure you I will not ever come back or recommend them to anyone!
