I don't usually care to post a review unless it's really good or really bad. In this case, it wasn't good. First of all, great selection of gift items. I was interested in your metaphysical selections. Rocks and minerals, mystical statues, etc. Now for the bad news. Just because I'm Asian doesn't mean you need to follow me around the store as if I'm about to rob you. The one thing I noticed about Northern California vs the rest of CA is that many of you probably don't have any friends who are considered minorities in the US. This leads to isolation, isolation leads to ignorance. Ignorance leads to bigotry and doing things like following Asian customers but leaving the white customers to shop freely. When it came to the counter, my Asian friend was asked to show her ID, she was buying a crystal, not alcohol. Seriously. The white customer after her, no ID was asked. When it came to me the cashier didn't trust the price on the item, so she went back to the shelf to make sure it was correct. Like seriously people? You think I have time to price swap? Word of advice to the shop owners, consider this an opportunity for improvement.

Cheap jewelry, overpriced bindis, this is a novelty gift shop with quality items and high prices.The "manager"; this lady with brown hair, sold me a novelty tarot deck and told me it was a real deck. I specifically asked her if it had the original names and she said "yes". She doesn't know anything about tarot and lied to make a sale. I came back the next day and she wouldn't let me return and and was really rude. She said "well, if you really knew anything about tarot than you could figure out this deck". I simply wanted to buy a good deck with the original names. Not some novelty deck for fun. She had a bad attitude and ruined my whole day. Spent about $50 for one deck in the end. Don't shop here, go to an authentic shop with non-mass produced items.

Great place, some things are overpriced but hey, its a novelty store. But as you can gather from other reviews don't expect staff to actually know about each item in the store. Other than rather unhelpful staff, its a great place. (They seem to consistently higher new people so that may be why)
