My name is John Henry. I am the John Henry that the “John Henry “ is named after. That mixture became quite popular. Ash and Ember is my favorite pipe shop. Joe is great guy to meet and visit.

I’m a newbie to pipe smoking and this place is top notch. I definitely taste the difference in other tobacco and “amazon” pipes. The pipes and tobacco here are grade A. Go home fire one up and make yourself an Old Fashioned drink makes a nice pleasant evening.

I just stopped in for the first time and I must say that I was extremely impressed with this wonderful shop. The inventory of pipes and tobacco is plenteous and beautifully displayed. Joseph Gibbens, the owner, was a terrific host. You can sense his passion and his knowledge of the product is apparent. I live 3 hours away but will come back as soon as possible.

If you love quality cigars/tobacco and are a child of the 80’s then this is the place for you! The owner is one of the nicest men I’ve ever met. He also has the coolest store decorations EVER! Their employees are very knowledgeable and help you decide on the best tobacco for whatever price is in your budget. My wife and I got 2 quality cigars and didn’t break the bank doing so.
